Fashion advice for a young man please?

Just got a couple of nice shirts and a few blazers for my b-day, I really like them but I'm unsure what to wear them with- the shirts are patterned so I'm hesitant to wear them with a suit, and the two blazers are blue pin strip and tan respectively- the thing is I really don't like the blazer+shirt+jeans combo on guys- so what else can I opt for? Thanks!

PS, what is the best way of keeping shirt collars stiff whilst in the wardrobe if they don't have the little slots sewn in for the stiffening clasps?

Thanks!Fashion advice for a young man please?
Its hard to give advice especially from a girl when their so many things that come into play for an outfit. such as color.. what kind of pattern, how they fit you. see what i mean.Fashion advice for a young man please?
ok !!!! jackets ok with chinos or black trousers , patterned shirts are ok with anything and look different with a suit try starch on collars or fold them like when new in a drawer
Hiya, I don't really have a lot of experience with having to keep shirt collars stiff, i'd just make sure that you don't cram loads of stuff in the wardrobe at the same time, give your shirts plenty of room.

In my opinion, the shirt blazer jeans combo makes a guy look arrogant. I think a guy looks cute if he wears jeans and a nice shirt if the jeans look expensive and fit well. Zip up leather jackets or style equivalents in diff fabrics are also a really good look at the mo, I think you can usually pick up nice ones from River Island which are nicely fitted and don't cost the earth. Or invest in an expensive one. Depending on your character you could get a dark brown colour if you fancy being a bit retro, or black for the boss sexy look.

Maybe you could wear blue suit trousers with the blue pin stripe blazer and a plain shirt? David Beckam is a good style icon in some respects, I've seen him wearing a black suit (I think the jacket is pin striped and trousers are plain) and he wears a fitted white t shirt underneath, a long silver chain with a little dog tag, and a black beanie hat. Looked gorgeous.

Many people forget that the most important thing in an outfit is the little touches, like getting the exact belt or watch or jewellery . Investing in a couple of nice designer belts might just set off the jeans and shirt combo or even suit and blazer combo. You don't need to spend a lot of money to look good, just make sure you wear stuff that fits you nicely.

Maybe pick out one or two of the colours in the blazer and wear those colours elsewhere in your outfit? Wear a plain shirt under the pin stripe blazer. I have to say, it may not be your cup of tea but a subtle plain pink shirt might look nice under a navy and tan pin stripe blazer with navy suit trousers.

Whatever you do, don't over-do the patterns and stripes - give your outfit ONE touch of pattern. Quality is better than quantity. Sometimes the simplest look looks the best. A man looks stylish to a woman if he's knows how to accessorize.

Hope this inspires you!
Jesus who is buying you blazers for your birthday?--- throw away the blazers, the patterned shirts and wear nothing except for a strap-on dildo.
You could wear your nice shirts with a pair of jeans for a casual, yet dressy look. You could also wear them with tan pants for a more formal dressed up look. You could wear the shirts with sweaters and jean or tan pants.

I wouldn't wear a blazer and a shirt together, thats just a little much. If you were to wear a blazer, I'd go for a more plain shirt, or a simple shrit, like a polo. Nothing too fancy though.

As for keeping the shirt collars stiff? I'm not exactly sure, you could iron them a lot...

Good Luck,
