Hi all i am 29 years old man and i really wanna gain some weight cuz i weigh only 62 kilograms.any advice?

i know it sounds a bit silly but the fact remains that i have been trying to gain weight for last 10 years but it never goes up.yeah i drink milk shakes, i eat a lot and a lot means 3/4 times a day.


i used to do athletics which i left 4 years ago but still i am not gaining weight.

Eat a lot! That is the only way to increase mass, but it may lead to certain unrequired results. A fat body. Imagine 10 kilos of extra fat on your body. That may not look good, now would it?





Heres an idea of what you should be eating:





Protein - Eggs, chicken, pork, steak, burgers, tofu, almonds, walnuts, peanut butter, chili, beans





Carbohydrates - Potatoes (mashed or baked), whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bread, rice (w/beans)





Vegetables and Fruits - Bananas, oranges, apples, strawberries, green beans, lentils, broccoli, cauliflower





Dairy - Whole milk, plain yogurt with fresh berries





Devise a meal plan for the day, comprising of different meal times. Breakfast, lunch, after lunch snacks(heavy), evening snacks, dinner.





Try something like this:


Breakfast: start with 5-6 eggs, i recommend boiled eggs, and a glass of milk.


Lunch: Boiled skinless chicken and boiled veggies, as much as you can eat.


After lunch snacks: 2 hours after lunch, go for heavy stuff, like steaks, kidney beans, baked or mashed potatoes, lentils, rice, pasta etc. You may morph this the way you like.


Evening: Milk shakes, protein shakes, fruits, boiled veggies, sandwiches etc


I would suggest you hit the gym after all these meals, and convert all those cals you've taken in, into muscle. That would be the best possible way to increase body mass.


Dinner: Go for anything you like, but avoid eating too many fatty foods. Thats not good, to be honest, you'll lose your tone.

well I think you've proven you cant get fat so the the only other way to put on weight is to put on muscle.





You need to start weight training and force your body to grow.

you can gain wait when you eat a lot. you hould not tlk much or strain your body. Just do some simple exercises or yoga everyday...
