Im looking for details of good quality two man tents for winter camping. Im willing to pay a little extra money to keep warm and dry.. Any suggestions??Advice on good quality two man tents?
For tents you will get what you pay for. It is possible to buy a tent for 拢25, however that will mostly be just good for summer camping.

Winter camping is when the weather throws the worst at you in big quantities - things like wind (lots of it), rain (lots of it) and maybe snow (lots of it), your tent needs to stand up to these. Snow is quite bad because it sits on the tent. Oh and there is cold (lots of it)

Brands to go for might include The North Face, The higher priced Vango (and force ten)(over 拢120), Terra Nova, VauDe, Jack Wolfskin, and maybe wild country - there are lots of makes to go for.

You could check out websites such as cotswolrds outdoors, ellisbingham, outdoormegastore, Blacks to get an idea.

One thing to look for if you are using this tent for winter is to get the sleeping area as small as you can get away with (it will be cosy but warm) and if you can get a porch area too (good for footwear and if needed and with care you can cook in there).

Notice I didn't tell you a make or model that I like (OK, just saw the terra nova laser and thought, Hmmmm tasty, but not sure if thats good for winter),thats your choice. Go for a good brand (costs a bit for that), with the space that you want. Thicker groundsheet might be usefull too

Then to keep warm don't forget the other kit - good sleeping bag (wha toy might save with a tent put into a good bag), and a cmping mat - a self inflating ';Thermarest'; type are good. One best but I can suggest for 拢5 is a hat! Well worth it for winter camping. And socks for bed (keep them clean and dry)Advice on good quality two man tents?
Check Hilliberg, in my experience of selling tents they are a step ahead of anyhting else. Other manufacturers tend to apply their best materials, manufacture %26amp; design to ultra-tough, high mountain tear-drop designs but Hilliberg tend to apply similar standards across their range.

They are expensive mind...

Staying warm is a different matter; here the quality of your sleeping bag %26amp; roll mat are the key.

Might come in useful. Stay warm!
