Why can't I just be myself and get a woman? did caveman need advice WTF! Man!?

ok so iam not one of these guys who is so goodlooking that he doesn't need help getting chicks. Iam from south America 26 and single why don't girls like me for me. Whats all these advice books and articles gonna really help, rbut then when I try to get girl I mess up . Isn't the ability to get a woman a gift god gave to all men.Why can't I just be myself and get a woman? did caveman need advice WTF! Man!?
Of course you can get a girlfirend. You just be yourself and it will happen, don't try so hard that you scare them off.

Don't believe the mens articles on how to get girls. I am a girl and I can say they are getting girls in spite of those articles not because of them.

Us girls read those articles for a good laugh. Why can't I just be myself and get a woman? did caveman need advice WTF! Man!?
Uh... what?

If you have problems with girls I'd probably send you to askmen.com, it's a site for men about all kinds of stuff, mostly for straight.
Well it could be once upon a time women didn't really have to use their brains to choose a mate..and the Alfa male would just walk by and the women would follow their instincts which were their scents and pheramones and all that crapola but now a days women are using their brains and therefore choosing who they want as a mate or if not you could resort to the cave man antic and BONK her on the head with a club! but then don't freak out when the police frown on such actions..point blank even if you were given some god given looks it still falls on who wants to partner up with you cause todays woman is strong minded and just because you got the looks don't always mean you can satisfy what that woman needs..i am sure there is one for you out there..good luck~

Younger man vs older man? Need SOLID advice please!?

I am 29 yrs old. My ex, 23 yrs old , whom I broke up with (due to a huge misunderstanding) a few months ago, wants me to give us a second chance. I am hugely attracted to him and love spending time with him, HOWEVER I cannot ignore the age gap and feel that in a way I'd be 'stealing' his youth. Even though I adore him, I want what's BEST for him. He says he is old enough to know what he wants to make him happy (i.e. me). He's broached the topic of marriage (not now but later) while I feel he's too young to be thinking of/discussing such huge life decisions. He says he's prepared to do whatever to make things work between us. My heart loves him, but my head (and a bit of vanity!) somehow holds me back...I don't want him to resent me in later years or (worst case) fall for someone younger later on...would break my heart! I have a v good male friend (5 years older than me) who also wants us to be together. This guy has everything on paper, but I only feel friendship there...what to do?Younger man vs older man? Need SOLID advice please!?
Simple, age is nothing but a number. You're the one who is creating all these things in your head. If he says he loves you and is willing to leave everything else behind for you, why should you break his heart? Don't worry about what other people will think, you live your life alone, so my friend, live it.

Don't do something because it's what expected of you, don't live your life the society's way, live your life the way you see fit. So follow your heart and i wish you all happiness.Younger man vs older man? Need SOLID advice please!?
its better to love and have lost then never to have loved at all.
it is not age that is a problem with relationships it is what people want and when they want it. do you want a career and then kids, no kids at all, kids now and a careeer at the same time, what kind of religion are you for if you are one and he is another that may play into affect as to how you can get along, what are your interests and political views. All these things should play into who you date not the age thing. We all grow up at differnt times and some never grow up. what do you want in a relationship and remember a true relationship will have rocky times and good times
Neither. You have obvious hesitations about both men.

I, personally, am dating a younger man but only 2 1/2 years younger (I am 26, he is 23). I don't think a man at 23 is too young to make life decisions, but I kind of know how you feel, there is a maturity difference. But everyone is different, and he - at 23 - may be plenty old to make such a significant decision. People get married a lot younger than that. You shouldn't be trying to ';mother'; him and tell him he's too young. But, that said, I think there are other issues (such as maybe purely the fact that you think he isn't mature enough for you) that makes you hesitant about the relationship. Maybe you don't want to wait until later when he is ready. Maybe you don't like the fact that he isn't prepared to marry you now. Maybe he has some other characteristic that bothers you. Whatever it is - I don't think that you want to marry someone that you have these insecurities about because eventually that can come back to ruin the relationship. And you've already dated - don't waste your time in a relationship that's not going anywhere.

But I also don't think you should date a man who you only have friendship feelings for. It is true that you want to marry someone who is your ';best friend'; but if there's no passion in the relationship you will eventually find yourself wanting other men who can give you that. It's also unfair to your older friend for you to date him because your other option (who you have more feelings for) is slightly less appealing - you should date (and marry) a man because you can't imagine doing so with anyone else. Yeah, maybe that's a bit idealistic, but a lot of marriages end in divorce and I seriously think it's because people get married because they are afraid to be alone, not because they have found the right person.

So, my vote is neither man. Take some time by yourself. Get over your last relationship. Do some online dating if you feel like you have to date. Meet people, be single, go out with friends. Wait until you find someone who makes both of these guys seem like ancient history - or at least makes you glad you didn't make a huge mistake.
Noble thoughts........and u're on the right track.....older guy in my opinion.......more stability, less risk..........less chance for heart break
Follow your heart and what feels right.
SOLID advice here:

You DON'T hook up with the older --- because YOU said... it's just a friendship that you feel.... (now that's out of the way)

Girl, girl, girl !!! (six years is NOT a big age gap)! Maybe you are right, at this moment in time.... marriage isn't the thing to do... but come on... what's six years... nothing!

My sister is five years older than Her husband and they have been married for 24 yrs!!! (happily)!

You are NOT stealing the 23yr olds youth --- He's a man.

Follow your HEART on this one... your happiness is what you need to consider, because if you are happy; you'll make the person in your life; happy. Take your time with all that you do... but most importantly, ';follow your heart';.....(good luck)
thats not that big of an age gap. dont talk like your an old granny, get over it and get back together. ..or go get a rocking chair.

5 years older isnt anything either,, so he looks good on paper, thats biodegradable.
He is 23 years old, old enough to know what he wants and if thats you why should a 6 year gap stand in the way. If he wants you why would he want a younger women, you could have that fear with any man not just him because he is younger. It should be a complament. Go for it. Its better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all.

I need advice please... man trouble!?

So I've been sort of seeing this guy. He initiates conversation with me everyday (usually via text messaging or MSN), and we've hung out 2 times (besides the first time we met). Both times he seems totally into me. He snuggles me, doesn't try anything sexually (all he's done is peck kiss me), and always says how much fun he has when he's with me.

We were hanging out Friday and he kept saying he didn't want to leave and asked me what I was doing Saturday and if I wanted to hang out. I said sure and for him to call if he wanted to hang out. I never heard from him so I just texted him asking if he still wanted to and he said ';I want to but I am about to fall asleep... I'm so tired from my games! :(';

After that I totally didn't think he was interested but the next day he texted me all day just asking how I was and giving me updates on what he was doing.

However, he still hasn't asked me to hang out again. Is he still interested? Should I ask him to hang out next? Help please!!I need advice please... man trouble!?
He's interested in something, but it isn't hanging out with you. Not sure what is on his mind, other than stringing you along to keep you available for his convenience.I need advice please... man trouble!?
First off..do not call this guy..let him contact you...do not be available to him at his convenience..play hard to get..tell him your going out with the girls..or hanging out with your family..wait a couple of days( it will not kill you) and see what he does..if he's really interested he will make an attempt to hang out with you....good luck!
Give him a chance. What sports or hobbies is he into? You don't know all his friends, he could be doing anything. Try your best not to jump to conclusions it's not healthy, and it causes stress, plus it is not a devoted relationship yet. He could possibly be jsut playing the game to see if you would contact him if he didn't get a hold of you. Just play it by ear and see what happens if it continues ask him why he doesn't contact you when he says he will. if he doesn't give you a good answer then he may possibly be up to no good. Trust your gut too it will help.
I think its time to be a little more blunt about it - put up or shut up
i think he's interested but just wait for him to come and ask you
sounds like he is interested. Dont ask him. He will ask you. Let him keep contacting you and see where it goes but no need to rush things. I've learned that. Give it time.

It sounds like he is just needing his space. If you do truely love each other as you say you do, you two will be fine. Just give him a little time to clear his head. And I know its hard to give him that space. One thing that helped me threw a similar break-up was a diary. If the urge to talk to him gets to strong, write/type him a letter and say all the things you would tell him if you were to talk to him. DO NOT give them to him... this is only theraputic for you. Giving them to him will only defeat the purpose. You can always delete them when you are done to resist that urge. If you want him back, you have to give him time to miss you. You have already made it clear to him that you are there for him...you have to let him realize on his own that that is what he wants. He will come around.Advice on man troubles, women and men please? what would you do?
I know it's hard and I'm sorry, but you should probably back off for a while.

I'd like advice from men who have had a vasectomy please?

My husband is considering getting one, but is concerned about how it will affect his ';manhood';. What has your experience been?I'd like advice from men who have had a vasectomy please?
Depending on what his definition of ';manhood'; is it should have no affect. That does not mean that it is completely risk free though.

I can only answer for myself as you read that some men have had no problems whatsoever and are happy. I on the other hand have had nothing but misery for the past 9 months. The procedure itself wasn't too bad except for when the numbing agent wore off half way through and it felt like he was ripping my stomach out through my scrotum.

Healing was no big deal I really didn't even use the pain meds he gave me. Eight days later I decided to try it out and was alarmed to find that at the point of ejaculation I lost all sensation. None of the fireworks or sense of release and relaxation afterward. Something still absent 9 months later. I did however develop a new sensation, pain, mostly a nuisance as it is always present and sometimes disabling where I cannot get out of bed. I just had surgery on my testicles this past Friday in an effort to stop it and now have to wait to see if the original pain is gone or just temporarily being masked by this new pain from the surgery. Oh yea I forgot I also ended up with painful prostate problems and low testosterone right afterward (all at age 38). It does work as birth control however as I really don't crave sex anymore and my wife is afraid to touch me for fear of hurting me.

It is not as rare as doctors lead you to believe

http://www.revolutionhealth.com/forums/m鈥?/a>I'd like advice from men who have had a vasectomy please?
For about 85% of men, vasectomy causes no long term problems.

For about 15% of men, it causes chronic pain. Most of the folks who post here are in the 85% with no problems or have spoken to men in that group.

If you want to know the real deal read this article: http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/picrend鈥?/a>

Here is an excerpt from a paper I wrote that summarizes the data on this issue:

Post-Vasectomy Pain Syndrome (PVPS) refers to a variety of distressing and painful symptoms that can develop after vasectomy. These include pain or dull ache in the epididymides or testes, discomfort with sexual intercourse or after vigorous activity, and pain during or after ejaculation. The incidence of PVPS in post-vasectomy surveys varies widely but symptoms persist longer than 3 months in 15-20% of men and can become chronic. The available studies indicate that 1-5% of men are severely affected and report pain during sex or pain affecting quality of life. Conservative measures such as scrotal support, heat or cold therapy, and anti-inflammatory medications help in mild cases. Surgical treatment for cases failing conservative management has included conversion to open vasectomy, microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord, vasovasostomy, epididymectomy, and inguinal orchiectomy. Vasovasostomy (vasectomy reversal) is an effective intervention in up to 85% of persistent cases. Informed consent for vasectomy should include a discussion of PVPS so that the patient and their partner are prepared for this outcome, as PVPS is the most common vasectomy outcome affecting quality of life.
My husband had a vasectomy so I will attempt to answer as best I can. His genitals look the same as they did before. His penis can still get just as erect as before. He can still please me sexually as he did before and he says it feels the same. His ejaculate has no noticeable difference, however microscopically there is a small difference as there is no sperm.

For us, him having a vasectomy has been a wonderful thing. I got off hormonal birth control and we don't have to use condoms anymore. So when ever the mood strikes us we can have sex without worry of potential impregnation. I would say, also, that after the vasectomy his sex drive went up...at least I think so. (and I don't mind one bit)
Tell him to relax. He'll still be able to perform, so long as he goes to a doctor for this, and doesn't try to do it himself.

Here's what my experience was like. The doctor will probably ask him to shave himself before the procedure. When the day comes, he'll lay flat on his back, and the doctor will probably tape his willy down to keep it out of the way. He'll get a local anesthetic, and 30-60 minutes later, be sent on his way.

A couple of recommendations: First - he should plan on several days of reduced/no activity. If he works Monday-Fridays, schedule the surgery for a Thursday morning when the kids will be in school on Thursday and Friday. He can probably drive himself home - I did. He shouldn't plan on climbing up and down flights of stairs unless he really needs to, or shoveling snow, doing any heavy lifting, etc. Depending on how he's feeling, he can probably go back to work on the following Monday.

Second - something cold that he can use to control swelling will be useful. My doctor said use a bag of frozen peas, and just refreeze it as needed. Other cold packs may work better. Just be sure he doesn't throw the peas back in the freezer and forget them, OK?

He'll need to go back to the doctor now and again, and bring in samples, until they find that he's not producing any more wigglers. Until then, he can still father a child, so use protection. And the more opportunities he has to flush out wigglers, the sooner it will be when you won't need any more birth control. It's up to you two to work it out, but this could be your opportunity to help him along with the process.
I had one and then a few years later I had it reversed. It was pretty painless and had absolutely no negative effects on my manhood or sex drive. I was still able to ejaculate but not sperm, only semen but my orgasms were just as intense as before. Maybe he should talk to the doctor for reassurance.
A vasectomy makes absolutely no noticeable difference whatever. Performance is the same and the consistency and amount of semen is the same. Tell him there is nothing to worry about.
After the initial recovery period, 100% positive. No effect on the 'manhood'. If anything it improved our love life.
It will have no effect at all. I had mine over 20 yeas ago. It did not hurt. I do not even have a scar.

I never even had children. Now I am 42, and happier than ever about it.
well, it doesn't have any effect on his manhood. He'll still shoot semen; there just won't be any sperm mixed in with it.
i had one 3 yrs ago...still works well here =).....sucks he will have to wait atleast 1 week to get a release. But it still feels the same
No change at all. I had the surgery 11 years ago.

  • I am interested in dating gay men and need some advice?

I am 41 yrs old and have finally accepted myself as gay. I have not been an active member of the gay culture/community. I am very nervous about dating and going to bars and what not. I would really enjoy some intimacy that lasts more than 30 minutes. How should I go about making myself available? Is there anyone who has faced this same experience? I am straight acting and masculine. Do I just jump right in?I am interested in dating gay men and need some advice?
Go to some gay pride places, Meet some other gay people, meet men through other men, %26amp; everything will be fine, You will find someone to love you for yourself.I am interested in dating gay men and need some advice?
go to any gay bar and try to meet a guy you are looking for some guys act like women and others act masculine just decide who you want to be. with choosing a partner when your gay you have the same array of descions as when your straight
If you are straight acting, then be straight.
awww that's cute..... even though it took you 41 years to finally except a simple truth. It's still cute nevertheless
    yea...just jump ;)
I would do a lot of things.

    1) Go to a few gay bars and just chill out there. Find out which nights are active and which are slow. Either ask the bartender or maybe someone at the bar will be good enough to fill you in. Ask about gay events in your community. Bars are a good way to meet people but they should not be your only way. Many gays don't go out often and some people don't like the culture. But I would at least know where they are and what they are like and become familiar with them.

    2) Pick up gay literature and read through it. At a gay bar or a gay friendly coffee house or laundry mat or video store or what ever - there are usually gay publications. Most are free and filled with advertisements. But you can learn what events might be going on. Is there a gay film festival some time during the year? A gay chorus? Is there a gay lesbian community center near you? If there is not one near you - is there one with in a few hours? What gay non profits are in your area? Are there any gay friendly churches in your area - or is there an MCC (metropolitan community church - a church that started 40 years ago in the US with a focus on the glbt community).

    3) Hang out at a gay friendly coffee house once in a while.

    4) Try a few adds in craigslist.

I have advised you to find out about gay chorus's, non profits, film festivals and community centers for a good reason. These are gay events outside of the sphere of the bar scene. Volunteer for a gay charity once in a while. Make the effort to attend a social or two at a gay community center if you are lucky enough to have one in your area.

Don't just rely on bars, but incorporate them.
