Lucky for him I don't dress like I did in high school because then I wore boys clothes. I have always been sort of a tom-boy.
Sad thing for me is I have always had this problem with being
';womanly'; even in college. I always had to have a friend help me to shop, get dressed for any function, and do my makeup. For goodness sake... I am only 23. What is wrong with me?
Guys and gals....help me please I need tips. Maybe something different to surprise him with for V-day? Most importantly, something to help me find my femininity. Help!!My man hates my style. I need some advice (men please responde0?
Try http://www.myshape.com/shop/shapematters
They will show you your body shape and recommend feminine pieces that accent your best features. There is nothing wrong with being a tomboy, but I congratulate you for wanting to change. My man hates my style. I need some advice (men please responde0?
Coming from a guy:
- we dont like sloppy (i.e. hoodies, baggy sweat pants, etc)
- we dont like/respect slutty (i.e low cut tops or bottoms)
- we like form fitting clothes (not TIGHT) on women
- layered looks are good for any occasion, not just a plain t-shirt
try this site for some inspiration:
If he doesn't like YOU for YOU, then you should break up with him. If you like the way you dress, then some guy shouldn't tell you how to dress. It's YOUR own life.
Dump him!
Hmm.. since I can't really see your daily outfits I can only suggest you some tips. Maybe you should wear a really light makeup. As in very light lip gloss, light brown eyeliner, and use an exfoliating face cleanser atleast once a week to keep your skin looking healthy.
For clothing,
Since you're more of a tomboy you don't have to wear heels, maybe some cute flats. If you don't want to wear skirts/dresses, you can always buy some nice fitting skinny jeans. Skinny jeans look good on almost everyone as long as they fit. For tops, maybe try some sort of v-neck or print.
My favorite stores are
forever21.com (valentines day special)
urbanoutfitters.com
h%26amp;m.com
and stores like that, that hold more of an indie vintage style.
I reallyy hope I helped, because i'm usually very well with clothing/makeup.
