What advice can I give a young man who is too shy to talk to girls?

He's handsome and smart and has a great sense of humor. I need lots of advice, though, because I don't know what to say to him. Please help.What advice can I give a young man who is too shy to talk to girls?
Two of my boys are really shy. I told them that they should try telling jokes. Jokes are a way to communicate without being serious. Once people find out you are funny, they want to get to know you.

hey. first of all, you're not alone. i'm like that too. and so are a lot of others.





shyness isnt an easy thing to overcome. its like its grown and grown over the years, and its like a part of you now, its hard to get rid of.





first of all, you need to ask yourself, why am i shy? is it because you are afraid to show yourself to the world? or you are afraid people will not like the person you are? in life, there will always be people who hate you, and people who love you. but if you never let anyone get to know you, no one can hate you, or love you. just know that people who love you will love you for who you are, and you need to let them do that.





from experience, i know that life is SO much better when you are real to yourself, and say what you want to say, and act how you want to act. don't let anything stop you from being yourself. not anything, and not shyness. it will not be easy and will take long to overcome your shyness, but its so worth it. no one wants a life in which they constantly supress who they are. what are you going to do with all the things that you've ever wanted to say, but didn't? all the things you've wanted to do, and all the dances you've wanted to dance, but kept yourself from doing it because you were scared? you need to let them out. let it out, be yourself, and let the world love you.





i'd like to say that i USED to be like you, and that i've overcome shyness, but the truth is, some days, i let it all go, and some days, im withdrawn, and shy. shy days are more than unshy days, but i'm still working on it. i just haveee to say, life iss soo much better when you open yourself up. let that be your motivation: a better, happier, life.
